Voting Results from July 9th meeting

Your Leadership wants to thank all the members who attended the meeting and showed up to vote. We had a great turnout.

We are happy to report that the vote on the contract proposal passed by an overwhelming majority!

The August 29th Welcome Back also passed. We will let the district know and send out more information on this when we hear back from them. There will be some parameters put into place for the comp time and attendance is on a voluntary basis.

Enjoy the rest of your summer!

LAST 2 Informational Meetings today

Today is the final day of informational meetings on the proposed changes regarding a few of the contract issues.  We have had great attendance in Zimmerman and Rogers, and we are hoping even more folks come out today in Elk River.

We will be meeting at the Elk River High School
at 3:00 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.

If you have not yet attended one of the informational meetings, please consider coming out this afternoon to hear the concepts being discussed regarding time and days of work.

We will be scheduling a meeting soon to discuss this proposal and determine if this is the path we should be going down, or if we should go back to the table with a different direction.

A special thank you to your negotiators who have volunteered to represent your interests at the table.

INFORMATIONAL MEETING ATTENDANCE

Hello AFSCME Local 3331

Yesterday we had the first 2 of 6 informational meetings regarding proposed changes for the contract.

If you did not attend yesterday, there is still time to attend one of the final 4 meetings. (Please see the schedule in the previous post).

We have already heard some misinformation that has been spreading through the Bargaining Unit.  Please keep an open mind and hear the proposal for yourself at one of the meetings.

We look forward to your feedback to building reps and your President Cheryl Anderson at:  president3331@hotmail.com

(Please note that your emails will be reviewed and catalogued, but due to the large volume on this issue will not be responded to individually).

As always, please make sure any Union discussion or feedback is completed during breaks or personal time.

Thank you to the officers and negotiators who have given their time, energy and talents to working for a fair contract.
